There are many FTP clients out there for just about every platform.  A simple Google search for "FTP client" reveals many options.  A popular Windows based FTP client is CuteFTP.

Windows includes a command line FTP tool called 'ftp', but many users may find it to be too cumbersome to use. Explorer has a built in FTP client that is more practical. Please see our How-to on using Explorer to transfering files to your website in our How-to's and Tutorials section.
